The window searchs all of the unicast and manycast NTP/SNTP protocol, UDP and TCP unicast Time protocol, and UDP and TCP unicast UnixTime protocol time servers in the LAN, in order to select one from them to fill into the "New/Edit source time server in the predefined list" or "New/Edit source time server in the synchronization queue" dialog box. Only those time servers have been built by the Net Time Server & Client can be found. The time servers that were run in the same computer as the client will not be found. To access the window, click on the "Find time servers in LAN..." button in the "New/Edit source time server in the predefined list" or "New/Edit source time server in the synchronization queue" dialog box.
The list box displays all of the unicast and manycast NTP/SNTP protocol, UDP and TCP unicast Time protocol, and UDP and TCP unicast UnixTime protocol time servers that be found in the LAN. Only those time servers have been built by the Net Time Server & Client can be found and listed in the list box. You can enable or disable your time servers to be found and listed in the list box, See also the "Allows clients to find the server" box in the "Server - SNTP", "Server - Time", and "Server - UnixTime" pages. You can click on the column head to sort the servers in the list by that column.
If the time servers were built in the same computer as the client, they will not be found and listed in the list box.
The context menu will be displayed when you right click in the list box, it contains two submenu items for quick operation. The "Use the time server" menu item is the same as pressing the "OK" button, and The "Refresh" menu item is the same as pressing the "Refresh" button. Also, double-clicking on a time server in the list box is the same as selecting the time server then clicking on the OK button.
Clicking on the button to re-serachs the time servers in the LAN, including all of the unicast and manycast NTP/SNTP protocol, TCP and UDP mode unicast Time protocol, and TCP and UDP mode unicast UnxiTime protocol source time servers that have been build by Net Time Server & Client.
Click on the button to fill the source time server that is selected in the "Select a time server" list box into the "New/Edit source time server in the predefined list" or "New/Edit source time server in the synchronization queue" dialog box, then close the "Find time servers in LAN" window.
Click on the button to close the "Find time servers in LAN" window without using any time server to fill into the "New/Edit source time server in the predefined list" or "New/Edit source time server in the synchronization queue" dialog box.
