In the page, you can change many of the global settings that affect the Net Time Server & Client. To access this "Options" page select "Options" item from the tree menu on the left side of the "Main window".
Specifies some miscellaneous settings for the Net Time Server & Client.
If the box is checked, the Net Time Server & Client will be automatically started when you start your Windows.
The options is not available if you run the program under Windows Vista. If you want to startup the program with Windows Vista, please open the "Administrative Tools" item in the "Control Panel", then open the "Task Scheduler" item to create a task item that starts at system startup or at user log on.
If the box is checked, the Net Time Server & Client will be minimized as an icon in the system tray (the right hand-side area of the task bar by the clock) when you start up it.
Checking the box disables the system to be suspended.
Checking the box disables the system to hibernate.
This setting determines whether you must confirm before exiting the Net Time Server & Client. If it's checked, the "Exit" message box will appear for your confirmation when exiting the Net Time Server & Client.
If the box is checked, the size of the "Main window" can be changed by grabing one of the edges or one of the corners of the "Main window" and drag and drop it in a new location.
If the box is checked, the "Main title" area will be shown at the top of the "Main window", othewaise it will be hidden.
If the box is checked, the Net Time Server & Client will open the "Tray balloon tip detail" dialog box to display the advanced information about the log event that's displayed in the balloon when you click on the tray balloon.
Checking the box allows the Net Time Server & Client to automatically check for newer version on startup. When the newer version is available, the "Online upgrader" dialog box will be poped up in order to download and install the newer version if the "Automatically download newer version" box is checked off, and the application will automatically download the newer version in the backgeound then the "Online upgrader" dialog box will be poped up in order to install the newer version if the "Automatically download newer version" is checked on. You can also change the option in the "Online upgrader" dialog box. See also the "Online upgrader".
Checking the box allows the Net Time Server & Client to download the newer version in the background if update available. The "Online upgrader" dialog box will be poped up after the newer version is downloaded in order to install the new version. You can also change the option in the "Online upgrader" dialog box. The options is available only when the "Automatically check for newer version" box is checked.
Click on the button to open the "Online upgrader" dialog box. Using this dialog box, you can check for newer version, download the newer version and intstall it.
If the box is checked, the "Tip of the day" dialog box will be shown when you start the Net Time Server & Client. You can also change the option in the "Tip of the day" dialog box.
Click on the button to show the "Tip of the day" dialog box.
If the box is checked, the Net Time Server & Client will display its splash screen during start up. If this box is checked off, the splash screen is not shown at start up. When the Net Time Server & Client is running, you can display the splash screen by double clicking on the left of main title. To dismiss the splash screen, simply click on it with the mouse.
Use the box to choose your preferred interface language.
Specifies the time in second, after which tray balloon tip will be automatically closed by the Net Time Server & Client.
Check the box to display the float tip window when the cursor is held over a list item, such as the predefined time servers item, the source servers queue item, and the log item.
Specify the background color for the float list tip window.
Specify the text colour of the float list tip window.
Specify the time in milliseconds, after which float list tip window will be closed by the Net Time Server & Client.
Specifies the transparency value for the float list tip window. 0 is transparent, 100 is opaque.
The panel contains settings that affect the error tip box. The error tip box will be displayed when an input field contains the illegal value.
Specifies the background colour for the error tip box.
Specifies the text colour of the error tip box.
Specifies the time in milliseconds, after which error tip box will be automatically closed by the Net Time Server & Client.
Specifies the transparency value for the error tip box. 0 is transparent, 100 is opaque.
Checking the box allows the Net Time Server & Client to automatically shutdown your computer at certain time that's specified below.
Specifies the type of the shutdown action you want to perform when automatically shutting down the computer.
Specifies the time to automatically shutdown the computer.
Checking the box forces Windows to terminate when automatically shutting down the computer. This can cause applications to lose data.
With this button you will accept and save current configuration.
With this button you will cancel current configuration and rollback to previous one.
