The page specifies how to contnect the time clients to the network in order to synchronize your local system clock. To access this "Connection" page, select the "Connection" item from the tree menu on the left side of the "Main window".
Select this item if you use the Net Time Server & Client with the LAN or dedicated line to synchronize your local system clock.
Select this item if you use the Net Time Server & Client with a dial-up modem or ISDN modem to synchronize your local system clock.
Specifies the name of the Windows dial-up networking connection that will be used by the Net Time Server & Client.
Press the button to open the connection properties dialog box in order to modify the dial-up settings for the dial-up-networking that is specified above.
Press the button to open the new connection wizard dialog box in order to create a new dial-up-networking connection entry.
Checking the box allows the Net Time Server & Client to check if the dial-up networking connection that you specified above is active when synchronizing with an external time server, if this connection is inactive, the Net Time Server & Client will automatically dial up this connection.
If the box is checked, when the dial-up-networking connection that's specified above is automatically established, the default username and its password that they are associated with this dial-up-networking connection will be used.
Checking the box allows you to specifiy an username and its password in order to automatically establish the dial-up-networking connection that's specified above.
Specifies a user name that's used to automatically establish the dial-up-networking connection that's specified above.
Specifies the user password that's used to establish the dial-up-networking connection that is specified above.
If the box is checked, before the dial-up-networking connection that's specified above is automatically established, the "connect to" dialog box will be poped up. In the dialog box, you can enter an username and its password to instead of the default or specific username and its password in order to establish this dial-up-networking connection.
Checking the box allows the Net Time Server & Client to automatically hang up the dial-up-networking connection that's specified above after the synchronization operation has been completed.
If the box is checked, the Net Time Server & Client will redial the dial-up-networking connection that's specefied above after a failed dialing. You may specify the number of times to automatically redial, and specify interval time between redial attempts.
Specifies how many times to dial using the dial-up-networking connection that's specified above before the Net Time Server & Client gives up and no longer will dial the connection with out your input.
Specifies how long to wait before attempting to connect again when you are unable to establish the dial-up-networking connection that's specified above.
If the box is checked, the Net Time Server & Client will use any existing connected dial-up networking connection to synchronize the local system clock with an external time server, and no longer to establish the dial-up-networking connection that's specified above if any connected dial-up networking connection is exist.
If the box is checked, when you click the "Apply" button to save these settings, they will also be saved for "Online upgrader" and "Online support" dialog boxes in order to search for new version, to download the newer version if it exists, and to submitting the support requests, feature requests and bug reports.
With this button you will accept and save current configuration.
With this button you will cancel current configuration and rollback to previous one.
